Visconti

1988

Visconti was founded in the late 1980s in Florence, the cradle of the Renaissance and a symbol of Italian craftsmanship.
Building on these roots and with a strong drive for innovation, the first fountain pens produced quickly stood out for features that would become true symbols of recognition among enthusiasts: vibrant colors, captivating designs, and high-quality materials.

1990's

Within a few years, Visconti became a reference point for enthusiasts in the sector.
The growth of the brand was also due to research and development efforts during these years, culminating in the iconic patents for the Power Filler (‘93) and Power Filler Double Reservoir (‘98) filling systems or the Travel inkwell (‘97).

2000's

The turn of the millennium symbolized the vision driving Visconti: to combine a centuries-old manufacturing tradition with the production requirements and tastes of modernity. This is also why in the 2000’s we designed our iconic clip, inspired by the Ponte Vecchio bridge in Florence to symbolize the point of contact between these two worlds.

2010's

The decade opened with the launch of what may be the most beloved collection in Visconti's history, the Homo Sapiens Lava Bronze. Alongside the development of innovations in writing instruments, the company ventured into the lifestyle sector, creating high-end collections in watches and leather goods.
